How long is the drive from Heraklion Airport to Hersonissos?
Leaving the airport, the car joins the north coast highway heading east almost immediately. The road runs a short way inland, past Gouves and the turn-offs for Kokkini Hani and Anissaras, before reaching the Hersonissos exits.
Outside the evening peak the trip often takes just over 20 minutes. On busy summer changeover days, or when roadworks narrow the highway, allow the upper end of the range.
