Suvarnabhumi Airport transfer
This page is about private long-distance transfers from Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) straight to Thailand's beach towns and provinces: the Hua Hin, Cha-Am and Pranburi coast, Pattaya, the ferry piers for Koh Samet and Koh Chang, Kanchanaburi, Ayutthaya and Khao Yai. Rides into Bangkok itself or to Don Mueang are not part of this offer.

The idea is simple: you land, a driver from a local transfer company meets you in arrivals, and you skip the night in the capital and the connection by bus or train. The total price is agreed before you book.

Leaving Suvarnabhumi without stopping in Bangkok
Suvarnabhumi lies in Samut Prakan province, east of central Bangkok. Most routes on this page never enter the inner city: drivers use the motorway towards the eastern seaboard or the outer ring roads around the capital.
After passport control, baggage claim and customs, your driver waits at the meeting point in the arrivals area with a name sign. The exact spot is arranged with the local provider by phone or WhatsApp. Share your flight number when booking so a delay can be followed.
Where these transfers go and how long they take
- Ayutthaya
- 100 km north, roughly 76–95 minutes. The former royal capital, with temple ruins on a river island.
- Pattaya
- 124 km south-east, about 92–115 minutes on the motorway. Beach city with Jomtien, Naklua and Wong Amat as quieter neighbours.
- Ban Phe (Koh Samet pier) and Koh Chang ferry pier
- 177 km (131–164 minutes) and 301 km (269–337 minutes). The car ride ends at the pier; the boat to the island is separate and bought locally.
- Khao Yai (Pak Chong)
- 186 km north-east, about 131–164 minutes. Hotels, farm stays and vineyards on the road from Pak Chong towards the national park.
- Cha-Am, Hua Hin and Pranburi
- 200, 225 and 252 km, between about two and a half and four hours. A gentle stretch of the western Gulf coast with long sandy beaches and resorts.
- Kanchanaburi
- 274 km by the routed road, usually 240–300 minutes. River Kwai, wartime history, waterfalls and raft resorts in the west of the country.
A realistic picture of drive times
From this airport the shortest ride, Ayutthaya, takes around an hour and a half, while the Koh Chang pier is five hours or more away. Most beach destinations fall in between, at two to four hours.
Bangkok's traffic is the main variable. Weekday rush hours and Friday evenings slow the ring roads, and Thai long weekends and the Songkran holiday in April fill the roads to the coast and to Khao Yai. A late-evening landing often means a faster drive.
Car or minivan for a long ride
A private car is comfortable for one to three passengers with normal luggage. For families, groups of up to about seven or several large cases, a minivan is the better choice on a drive of three hours or more. Larger vehicles can be arranged on request.
Child seats can be requested at booking, and golf bags, diving gear or bicycles should be declared so the right vehicle is sent. Every ride is private, with no other passengers and no stops at other hotels. A short break at a service station is normal on long routes.
Season on the coast and inland
November to April is the main travel season: drier, less humid and with calmer seas in the Gulf. December and January are the busiest weeks, with full resorts in Hua Hin, Pattaya and on the islands. Khao Yai fills with Thai visitors on weekends.
March and April are hot, and the rainy months from around May to October bring heavy afternoon showers that can slow traffic.
Frequently asked questions
Can I book a transfer from Suvarnabhumi into central Bangkok here?
No. These pages only cover intercity rides from Suvarnabhumi to the coast and provinces, such as Pattaya, Hua Hin, Ayutthaya or Khao Yai. City rides and transfers to Don Mueang are not offered on them.
Does the price include the ferry to Koh Samet or Koh Chang?
No. The car takes you to the pier in Ban Phe or near Laem Ngop, and the transfer ends there. Ferry or speedboat tickets are bought locally at the pier.
What if my flight lands late at night?
Share your flight number when you book so the local provider can follow your arrival. The agreed price does not change for a delayed flight or for traffic.
Is a minivan worth it for a four-hour drive?
For more than three passengers or bulky luggage, yes. A minivan carries up to about seven people and gives everyone room on long routes such as Hua Hin, Kanchanaburi or the Koh Chang pier.
How do I book and pay?
Book online on hoteltaxi.com or in a WhatsApp chat. The total price is shown and agreed before booking, and payment goes through HotelTaxi.
