This is the shortest beach transfer from Mopa, and the whole route stays in Pernem.

A short drive that stays north of the river

Mopa and these beaches are both in Pernem, Goa's northernmost taluka, so the transfer never crosses the Chapora river. From the airport the car heads west on country roads past villages, paddy fields and cashew groves to the coast.

The last section runs along the coast road connecting Morjim, Ashwem, Mandrem and Arambol. It is narrow and busy with scooters in the evening, but there are no big-town traffic jams on this route.

Which beach suits you?

Arambol
The northernmost of the four, with yoga schools, music, sunset drumming on the beach and a long-stay crowd. Guesthouses are packed into lanes behind the beach.
Mandrem and Ashwem
Quieter, with boutique hotels, beach huts and wellness retreats along a wide beach.
Morjim
On the north bank of the Chapora estuary, popular with Russian-speaking visitors and known for olive ridley turtle nesting sites in winter.

Arriving with yoga mats, kites and long-stay luggage

Many visitors to Arambol and Mandrem stay for weeks and bring yoga equipment or musical instruments. Kitesurfers also come to this stretch in season. Kite and board bags must be declared when booking so a vehicle with enough space is sent.

Some beach-hut camps can only be reached on foot through sand. The driver stops at the nearest road access, and camp staff usually help with bags.
