Larnaca International Airport transfer
Private transfers from Larnaca International Airport (LCA) reach most of Cyprus in under two hours, from about 20 minutes to the Larnaca Bay hotels up to 110–138 minutes to Coral Bay in the far west. A standard car usually costs around €25–35 for the short hop to Oroklini and around €130–175 for the long run to Coral Bay, and the exact price is shown before booking.

Larnaca is the island's main gateway, so landing here still lets you sleep on any coast, in the capital or up in the mountains the same evening.
Transfers from this airport
What is it like arriving at Larnaca Airport?
The airport sits on the south-western edge of Larnaca, right beside the Salt Lake. In winter flamingos often feed on the lake.
After passport control and baggage reclaim, your driver waits in the arrivals area with a name sign. Share your flight number when you book, so a delay simply moves the pickup. If you need to find each other, the local provider contacts you by phone or WhatsApp.
Where do transfers from Larnaca Airport go?
- Ayia Napa and Protaras
- The east coast resorts, 42–53 minutes to Ayia Napa and 51–64 minutes to Protaras along the A3. Sandy beaches, Cape Greco between the two, nightlife in Napa and family hotels in Protaras.
- Oroklini and Lefkara
- Close to the airport. The Larnaca Bay hotel strip at Oroklini takes about 19–24 minutes, while the lace-making village of Lefkara in the hills is 34–43 minutes away.
- Limassol and Pissouri
- West along the south coast. Limassol, the island's second city with a long seafront, is 59–74 minutes away. Quiet Pissouri and its bay take 68–85 minutes.
- Nicosia
- The divided capital lies inland, 55–69 minutes up the A2. City traffic stretches the last few kilometres.
- Paphos and Coral Bay
- The far west, 92–115 minutes to Paphos and 110–138 minutes to Coral Bay in Peyia.
- Platres in the Troodos
- A mountain village among pine forest, 86–108 minutes away via Limassol and a winding climb.
How long are the drives from LCA, and which roads do they use?
Cyprus drives on the left, and most transfers spend nearly all their time on a short, simple motorway network. The A3 runs east from the airport towards Ayia Napa and Protaras. Heading west, the motorway joins the A1 to Limassol, which carries on as the A6 to Paphos. The A2 branches inland to Nicosia.
Off the motorway things slow down. Village lanes in Lefkara, the hairpins above Limassol on the way to Platres and the local roads beyond Paphos all add time.
Which vehicle should you choose?
A standard car fits one to three passengers with normal suitcases. Families and groups of up to about seven usually take a minivan, and larger vehicles can be requested for bigger parties.
Child seats can be added when you book. Declare sports equipment at the same time: golf bags for the courses near Paphos and Limassol, diving gear (the Zenobia wreck off Larnaca is a well-known dive), or bicycles for a winter cycling trip. That way the provider sends a vehicle with the right space.
How early should you leave for a flight out of Larnaca?
A simple rule works well: take the upper drive time for your route and add two to two and a half hours for check-in and security. From Ayia Napa that means leaving about three hours before departure; from Paphos, about four.
HotelTaxi can arrange the return as well as the arrival, carried out by a local transfer company, and you can book online or on WhatsApp. The price agreed before booking stays the same if traffic is heavy.
Frequently asked questions
Where does the driver meet me at Larnaca Airport?
The driver waits in the arrivals area with a sign showing your name. Details are agreed with the local provider by phone or WhatsApp.
How far is Larnaca Airport from Ayia Napa, Limassol and Paphos?
Ayia Napa is 60 km away, about 42–53 minutes. Limassol is 70 km, around 59–74 minutes, and Paphos is 135 km, usually 92–115 minutes by private transfer.
Does the price change if my flight is late?
No. The total price is shown and agreed before booking and does not change because of a delayed flight or traffic. Make sure the flight number is on the booking so the pickup can be adjusted.
Is it better to fly into Larnaca or Paphos for the west coast?
Paphos airport is closer to Paphos and Coral Bay, but many travellers choose Larnaca because it offers more flights. The transfer west takes roughly two hours and runs mostly on motorway.
Can I book a transfer to the Troodos mountains in winter?
Yes, Platres is reachable all year. On the high roads frost and snow are possible in January and February, so allow extra time and keep your provider informed of your plans.
