From the airport the car takes the D400 east past the Belek turn-offs and the wide farm plain around Serik.

After Manavgat the road follows the shore past Okurcalar, Avsallar and Türkler, with hotels and pine slopes on both sides.

What kind of place is Konaklı?
Konaklı was once a farming village known as Şarapsa and is now one of the main resort areas of the Alanya district, with a long row of large five-star beach hotels. Most guests come on all-inclusive holidays, many of them families, and stay for a week or two.
