Autumn Golf in Belek: Planning an October–November Trip to Antalya

Belek, about 35 minutes east of Antalya Airport, is Türkiye’s main golf destination, and October and November are among its best months to play. After the summer heat fades, daytime temperatures usually settle in the low to mid 20s °C in October and in the high teens to low 20s in November, with mostly dry, sunny days.

Spring, roughly from March to May, is the other prime season. In midsummer it is often too hot for comfortable afternoon rounds, while winter is mild but brings more rain. That is why many golf groups from northern and western Europe plan their trips for autumn or spring, and why tee times in these months book up early.

Later in November the chance of rain increases and days get shorter, so the first half of the month is usually the more reliable choice if you want full days on the course.

What makes Belek special is the concentration of championship courses along the coast and in the pine forest behind it. Well-known names include Carya, the National Golf Club, Montgomerie Maxx Royal, Cornelia, Gloria, Sueno and Antalya Golf Club, with Lykia Links a little further east by the sea. Most are only a few minutes’ drive from each other, so you can play a different course every day without long journeys.

Many golf hotels are built next to a course or have their own, and they often run shuttles to the others. Courses vary from parkland layouts among pines to links-style holes near the dunes, which gives a varied week of golf in one place.
