Warsaw Chopin International Airport (WAW) is the largest and busiest airport in Poland. Located in Warsaw capital city and operated by Polish Airports State Enterprise (PPL). The airport is spread over an area of 834 hectares and resides at an elevation of 110 m above mean sea level. At Warsaw airport there is one Main Terminal named as Terminal A divided in two halls: North & South. Terminal A has 5 Check-in areas known as A, B, C, D and E. The airport has two intersecting runways 3,690 m and 2,800 m long

Warsaw has continental climate with cold winters and warm summers. Spring to autumn are very pleasant and the best time to visit the city. However, July can be quite rainy.
