Heydar Aliyev International Airport (GYD) is the largest airport in the Azerbaijan. Located in the capital of Azerbaijan and operated by Government. The airport is spread over an area of 65,000 square meters and resides at an elevation of 3 m above mean sea level . There are 2 Terminals: The old terminal replaced by the new designed Terminal 1 in 2014. Terminal 2 only serves domestic flights..Heydar Aliyev International Airport has two runways, 3,995 m x 60 m and 3,200 m x 45 m.
ABOUT BAKU CITY

Baku is the largest city in the Caucasus and the capital of Azerbaijan with a population of 2,374,000. It covers an area of 2,200 square km and has a population of 2 million.

For many years Baku hosts various international tournaments and games.  The best time to visit between months of April and October, while summer time temperatures reach up to 34 degrees. Baku is beautiful during any season of the year.
