Dusseldorf International Airport (DUS) is the largest and busiest airport in the Rhine-Ruhr. Located north of Dusseldorf in the Noordrijn-Westfalen province and operated by Flughafen Düsseldorf GmbH. Dusseldorf International Airport is spread over an area of 6,130,000 m² .The airport resides at an elevation of 44.8 m above mean sea level. The airport has three terminals. Terminal A has 16 gates and used for international flights. Terminal B has 11 gates and decicated for domestic flights. Terminal C has 8 gates and used exclusively for non-Schengen-flights. There are 117 aircraft parking lot. Dusseldorf International Airport has two runways, 3,000 metres and 2,700 metres long.
